Letter of Thanks and Blessing from Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach Zt"l – Nissan 1989.
A letter of gratitude and blessing from the great Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach zt"l, addressed to Rabbi Shmuel Dov HaKohen Eisenblatt, for the seforim he sent him (likely Lashon Chaim, a summary of the laws from the Chafetz Chaim, and an essay praising peace and unity).
It is noteworthy that after expressing his appreciation for the seforim and offering high praise for their quality and the author himself, Rabbi Auerbach ends the letter with abundant blessings:
"Therefore, along with my thanks, I offer my blessing that the G-d who gives the Torah will assist you to continue producing much sacred fruit in wisdom and understanding, benefiting many to increase peace, and to magnify and endear the Torah.
The undersigned, anticipating peace in Israel and a complete redemption, soon."
Rabbi Shlomo Zalman was renowned for his pure character traits, particularly his pursuit of peace and aversion to conflict. It is no surprise that he went out of his way to praise the author for his work on Shalom V’Achdut (peace and unity) and to admire him with heartfelt, abundant blessings.
