Description
Extremely Rare! "Or HaYashar" Siddur – Printed by the command of the Holy Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz, of blessed memory, and with the approbatiomns of his sons – Bilgoraj, 1928.
Or HaYashar Siddur – The Siddur of the Ramak, including "Or HaYashar" by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Poznań with "Or Tzaddikim" by Rabbi Meir Paprosh – printed by Rabbi Israel Shverd, dayan of Rava, by the command of the holy Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz – Bilgoraj, 1928.
The siddur was printed by the command of the Holy Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz, of blessed memory, who instructed Rabbi Israel Shverd, the dayan of the Rava community, to reprint this siddur, as his father, the Holy Rebbe Yehoshua of Belz, of blessed memory, had commanded to print this siddur back in 1892.
The "Or HaYashar" Siddur was highly cherished by the Rebbes of the Belz dynasty throughout the generations. In 1892, it was printed by the Belz chassid Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Amkroyt, under the command of the holy Rebbe Yehoshua of Belz [the middle Belzer Rebbe], who also gave a warm approbation to the sefer (this was his approbation for any sefer, aside from "Genzei Yosef" on the Pri Megadim).
In 1927, the Holy Rebbe Yissachar Dov of Belz, of blessed memory, instructed Rabbi Israel Shverd, the dayan of Rava, to reprint and edit the siddur anew. Rabbi Israel fulfilled this sacred command but did not live to see it completed, as the Rebbe passed away in 1927.
However, the holy Rebbe Yissachar Dov passed away in 1927, just before the siddur was finished printing in 1928. Thus, the siddur was printed with the approval of his sons and sons-in-law, the Holy Rebbe Aharon of Belz and Rabbi Mordechai of Bilgoraj, of blessed memory. It was also endorsed by his son, the Holy Rebbe Yehoshua Rokeach of Yaroslav, and his son-in-law, the righteous Rabbi Yochanan Twersky, Av Beit Din of Horbeshov, of blessed memory, as well as the sons and sons-in-law of the Holy Rebbe Aharon of Belz – Rabbi Moshe Rokeach hy”d his blood, and Rabbi Shmuel Frankel hy”d.

This siddur is extremely rare. It is not in the National Library and is not listed in the Bibliographic Project CD or Vinograd!!!
600, 35 pages (a different variant also exists), good to fair condition, on pages 170, 600, 35 (second count), on the title page and one other page there are tears with missing text, on page 538 there is a cut through a few letters, on page 598 there is a paper overlay on the text with a cut through a few letters, the title page is reinforced, wear, light stains, new luxurious binding.
